The flats Bénigne Le Compasseur, Logis Des Frémyots, Baronne de Chantal are in Jeanne De Chantal's (1572-1641) native home, she was the founder of The Order of Visitation. Her sixteenth and seventeenth mansion has just been entirely renovated and is located right in the centre of the conservation area.

The mansion is just opposite the old courtyard on the « Parcours de la chouette » (the journey guided by Dijon owl of good luck). Therefore this is the ideal place to start and see the sights of the capital of the Dukes of Burgundy.
